We are greatly shocked and in great sorrow on hearing the news of the sudden death of our beloved father,the legendary Uyghur leader --- General Memet Riza Bekin .It would be a great loss to our cause. However,his wisdom and spirit will enlighten me to further his undone work and fulfil the true independence of our motherland eventually.

May Allah bless him and grant him peace.These days rumours on General's will spark an debate between us Uyghurs.Who will be the appropriate successor of our cause? The energetic, well-educated Sultan Mamut mentioned in the will or the so-called "Son of Islamic Movement" Ms.Rebiya Kardeer?

General Memet Riza Bekin said that we have made little progress in our cause in recent years, but full of infighting or denunciations among groups. The main reason is that we have no appropriate leader, our leader should be competent, high-level, and the most important is that he or she must have the spirit of dedication to serve the whole nation. In his will ,he sang high praise for the leadership of Mr Sultan Mamut. Meanwill,he stressed "Some people acted in bad faith, using the name of unity and organization to gain their own selfish ends., we should be on guard against these people".As per his will,the main idea is to ask us to comply with the spirit of Allah and the Islamic, unite the prophet to make the revitalization of our people come true .That's also the legacy he left us.
